Nigerian Air Force Alpha Jet Destroys Boko Haram Logistics Base (video)

The Nigerian Air Force has destroyed a Boko Haram logistics base in Tumbu Gini, northern axis of Borno state.

The base was destroyed by the Air Force alpha jet aircraft on Friday, April 27.

The director of public relations and information for the Nigerian Air Force, Olatokunbo Adesanya, said the institution’s Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft has conducted the Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) for the mission.

Adesanya, an air vice marshal said: “The BDA revealed that the first wave of a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Alpha Jet aircraft strike on the location totally destroyed the vehicles and other logistics items at the place thereby further degrading the terrorists’ capabilities.

Furthermore, at the end of the attack, the entire BHT location was engulfed in fire and all the terrorists in the location were neutralized,” Adesanya said.

The suspect was arrested by troops of the 707 Special Forces Brigade of the Nigerian Army, the Nigeria Police and officials of the Department of State Service in Makurdi on Friday, April 27.

The Army said that the suspected identified as Aminu Yaminu nicknamed Tashaku who is believed to have masterminded most of the recent attacks in Benue state.
